Netherlands-Flag-icon Germany-Flag-icon StatenClinic has acquired a new laser device which allows to treat patients with many indications, directly in house. Technically, the device comprises three modules, namely an IPL (Intense pulsed light) component, a Nd:YAG (neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet) laser and a FX (Fractional Non-Ablative Resurfacing) laser.

Our IPL skin treatment application is used in dermato-cosmetic indications such as benign pigmented epidermal and cutaneous lesions including dyschromia, hyperpigmentation, melasma, scars and striaeas well as benign cutaneous vascular lesions, including port wine stains, hemangiomas, facial and truncal telangiectasias, rosacea, erythema of rosacea, angiomas and spider angiomas, poikiloderma of Civatte.

The IPL Hair Removal Application of our system is indicated to effect stable long-term, or permanent hair reduction in skin types I–VI. Permanent hair reduction is defined as long-term stable reduction in the number of hairs regrowing after a treatment regimen.

The laser light produced by the Nd:YAG laser is indicated for the coagulation and hemostasis of vascular lesions and soft tissue, including treatment and clearance of superficial and deep telangiectasias (venulectasias) and reticular veins (0.1–4.0 mm diameter) of the leg.

The FX (ResurFX) laser module is indicated for use in dermatological procedures requiring (skin types I-VI) coagulation of soft tissue and skin resurfacing procedures and used for the
  • Treatment of dyschromia, such as but not limited to melasma;
  • treatment of acne scars;
  • surgical scars and
  • striae as well as
  • treatment of periorbital wrinkles.
