Complaints and arbitration

Netherlands-Flag-icon Germany-Flag-icon If you have a complaint about StatenClinic, and if you can prove you tried but you couldn't reach a settlement directly with us, you have the opportunity to submit your complaint to the complaints officer ("klachtenfunctionaris"). A complaints officer is an independent professional mediator who can work on a solution together with you and StatenClinic. When you submit a complaint, we strive to find a solution within 6 weeks. If you wish to contact the complaints officer, you can send a letter to the complaints officer, Redwoods.nu BV, Bruningweg 23, 6827 BM Arnhem.

If you do not agree with the complaints officer and StatenClinic, you can contact a disputes committee ("geschillencommissie"). This committee is an independent organisation that makes a decision about the validity of your complaint, in certain cases the committee can award compensation.

The Statenkliniek has entered into an agreement with the Stichting Geschillencommissie EZa for the treatment of disputes. The Disputes Committee consists of a chairman (lawyer) and two members, one with a medical background. When a dispute is submitted, research will be carried out into the causes of the complaint. Depending on the nature of the dispute, the chairman determines how the committee arrives at a ruling.

More information about the procedures of the Disputes Committee can be found on the website www.geschillencommissie-eza.nl. It also contains information about how to submit a dispute.
